To the world of fine art by Lucinda Watt

MY
STORY

My fascination with art and painting began at an early age inspired by my grandma who painted and exhibited professionally. After experimenting at college with different mediums and techniques, I went on to study Art History and take inspiration for my own artwork from the great masters of art including Bridget Riley, David Hockney and Georgia O’Keefe.

After graduating with a First, I continued to paint avidly taking private commissions, exhibiting nationally and winning awards. I am a member of the Winchester Art Club, and the Wallop Artists Group, and take part in their annual Exhibitions. I have exhibited at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham, St-Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, Battersea Arts Centre, Lloyds of London, London City Airport, Landmark Art Fair in Teddington, and Reading and Windsor Art Fairs - to name a few!

Landscapes and wildlife are a big inspiration for my art and I have particularly enjoyed the latest craze for outdoor painting challenges and have taken part in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year, Pintar Rapido in Chelsea, and Windsor & Eton Plein Air in His Majesty’s garden.
